Amongst the most magical and otherworldly of the bird species, she is a lover of solitude, making her home in the crevasses of trees, barns and forests, she is a lady of the night. While out hunting (mostly snakes, mice and rabbits) she gains speeds up to 10-20mph. These owls are approximately the size of a house cat and weigh up to one pound! Small, mighty and magical, she is my spirit animal!
