I had the opportunity to participate in West Elm’s Local Pop-Up shop. For those that don’t know, West Elm is a huge supporter of local artist and they created a space to allow artists to sell their work or craft to their community. I think it’s so awesome they support local makers, as a successful pop-upper you'll have the opportunity to have your work in your local West Elm that you popped-up shop in, permanently. I loved selling to West Elm West Hartford’s Community. The people I met and those that purchased my work were so awesome, so nice and very supportive. I have to say I truly enjoy meeting my collectors face to face. There's something to this way of selling that allows you to really get to know them and connect again in the future. Not to mention, the amazing support and guidance from the staff. They are a great group of humans and I really enjoyed my weekend with them.
I’ve been invited back to West Elm West Hartford for Small Business Saturday (November 25, 2017) where I will be selling my artwork and my greeting cards! For those local friends, come out and see me and purchase some Christmas gifts! There will be other makers there popping-up their shop, too! If you can't make it out I have a limited selection in my shop. Otherwise, reach out to me here for commissions or to inquire about pieces you've seen on my instagram.
Thank you to all those who came out in October to support me. I truly appreciate it!
